After the incident, tension gripped the area as armed men resorted to aerial firing and forced the shopkeepers to pull down shutters. The area residents also took to the roads and torched tyres in protest against the killing of Shaad Mohammed as well as against the law enforcers for allegedly supporting the drug pushers.
The area witnessed a law and order situation when unidentified armed miscreants torched a motorcycle and a rickshaw. Shaad’s funeral prayers were offered near Habib Bank Chowrangi, SITE, attended by the party leaders and activists beside the area residents.
