Man shot dead in Karachi
KARACHI: A young owner of a puncture shop was gunned down outside his workplace in the Sohrab Goth area on Saturday. Police said that 35-year-old Abbas Khan was sitting outside his puncture shop in Hasan Noman Colony along the Superhighway when two men on a motorbike targeted him.
“He sustained two bullet wounds, each to the chest and abdomen,” said DSP Ejaz Rajper, the area’s sub-divisional police officer.
“He was first shifted to a private hospital and then moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he died.” He was a resident of Machhar Colony close to Fateh Muhammad Goth near Sohrab Goth, he said.
The victim belonged to the Akhkhel tribe and hailed from Peshawar.
