Islamabad: Man arrested for submitting fake bank challan
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have arrested a man, who tried to get a driving license on a fake bank fee challan, the police spokesman said on Wednesday. Tariq Ali, resident of Kot Momin, Sargodha district, attached the bank fee receipt of some other person with his application form of driving license and tried to cheat the ITP licensing authority.
It merits mentioning here that each applicant has to deposit fee separately on a specific bank voucher to get driving license from Islamabad district. Tariq Ali came to the driving test authority of ITP with the bank receipt, which seemed counterfeit to police official.
A case was registered against him on the compliant of ITP Licensing In-charge Inspector Shamas Azhar at the Margalla Police Station under Sections 420, 468 and 471.
