Lahore: Robbers kill girl, injure two sisters, mother
LAHORE: A 22-year-old girl was shot dead while her two sisters and mother were injured by bandits in Shahdara Town police limits on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Sameera Bibi, daughter of Muhammad Din, a resident of National Fan Colony.
Police investigators said that dacoits equipped with sophisticated arms broke into a house at around 4:10 am on Saturday and held the family hostage at gunpoint.
However, the family resisted and overpowered a dacoit and raised an alarm for help but his accomplices sprayed several bullets and fled the crime scene, leaving the four in a pool of blood. The injured were shifted to Mayo Hospital where the doctors pronounced Sameera dead while the condition of the others was critical till the filing of this report.
An FIR has been lodged against the unidentified accused with no arrest so far. Further investigation was underway.
