Lahore: Kidnapped girl recovered
LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested three kidnappers and recovered a kidnapped girl on Saturday. Sher Shah, Multan, PHP Post received information that three unidentified armed persons in a car (MNA/4897) had kidnapped a girl, about 21 years old, near Nadirabad Phattak and moved towards M Garh.
The PHP team set up a roadblock at China Chowk and intercepted the car and recovered the kidnapped girl named Ansa, daughter of Fazal Muhammad of Saeed Colony, Multan. The accused were arrested. They were identified as Abdul Rehman, M Makki and Naveed Shahzad of Saeed Colony. One pistol and 12 bullets were also seized from them.
Comments sought from SHO: Additional District and Sessions Judge Pervez Iqbal on Saturday sought comments from the SHO Lower Mall by March 24 on a petition seeking registration of a criminal case against an accused allegedly involved in preparing fake documents of petitioner’s property.
Munawar Begum contended in her petition that she was a owner of a residential plot measuring 11 Marlas located in Rajgarh. He told the court that accused Abdul Salam prepared its forged documents to sell her property. She told the court that she approached the concerned SHO but he did not bother to listen to her.
She prayed to the court to direct the SHO to register a case against the aforementioned accused. Upon this, the judge sought comments from the SHO by March 24.
