Islamabad: 9 arrested for robbery, drug-peddling
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police on Thursday arrested nine persons, including four women, for their alleged involvement in robbery, theft and drug–peddling cases, the police spokesman said. Sub–Inspector Ghulam Habib of the Margalla Police Station arrested four women identified as Nadia, Razia, Parveen and Sarwari for their involvement in thefts. ASI Saleem Raza of the Ramna Police Station arrested Javed and Nazir after recovery of stolen mobile phones from them.
ASI Muhammad Niaz of the Shahzad Town Police Station arrested two dacoits identified as Ibrahim, son of Abdul Karim, and Asif alias Imdad, son of Muhammad Ibrahim. Sub–Inspector Rab Nawaz of the Tarnol Police Station arrested a drug–pusher, Saqib Shah, and recovered 500 grams of heroin from his possession.
