Karachi: labourer gunned down on Superhighway
KARACHI: A 26-year-old labourer was shot dead near the Sabzi Mandi on the Superhighway, police said. Sher Hakeem, a resident of Bismillah Market, was standing near the market when he was targeted within the remit of the Sohrab Goth police station. Police shifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post–mortem examination.
They quoted the victim’s younger brother, Wazeer Malook, as saying that he was not associated with any political or religious party. The said they police believed the killing was a result of personal enmity.
