Khanewal: PTU leader granted bail
KHANEWAL: District and Sessions Judge Nazir Ahmed Aqeel granted bail to Punjab Teachers Union divisional president Sahibzada Hakim Javedul Hassan Mujahid in a case. Earlier, a case was registered against him under sections 148, 149, 452, and 506-B of the PPC. Addressing a press conference after the bail, Hakim Javedul Hassan said that they were struggling for the welfare and rights of teachers. He added that the teacher unions office-bearers were representatives of a literate class, which was facing numerous problems. He said that teachers had been deprived of allowances, promotions, transfer and posting and the unions were struggling for their rights.
He said that they had to take out rallies and stage demonstrations for their rights. He said that the teachers’ unions were united and fake cases could not stop them from getting their rights. Muttahida Mahaz Usatza Pakistan division president Muhammad Arif Sahu, PST Association provincial media adviser Abdul Aziz Mughal, Mian Channu PTU Women district president Sakina Bashir Ch, PTU district secretary general Ch Ghulam Rasool Sindhu, Public Relations secretary Mehr Riaz Ahmad Sial were also present.
