Karachi: Jobless youth commits suicide
KARACHI: A jobless man committed suicide at his house in New Karachi Industrial Area on Sunday. Nadeem Shah (25) son of Ameer Shah, after exchanging hot words with his parents, locked himself in a room of his house (A-20) situated in Block–D in Allah Rakha Goth and hanged himself to death with a ceiling fan. When his mother knocked the door after few hours, she did not receive any response following which she called her husband who broke open the door only to see their son hanging with the ceiling fan.
Following receipt of information, the area police reached the spot and shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. Police said that the deceased was jobless and after quarrelling with his father he got disheartened and ended his life.
Meanwhile, the body of a young picnicker was recovered from the sea in Mauripur police area. Umair (22) son of Dost Muhammad had gone to Hawaksbay beach for picnic along with his family members, when he was swept away by a heavy tide. His family members started shouting and immediately called the rescue team. His body was retrieved by the Edhi volunteers and later shifted to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
