Islamabad: 18 outlaws arrested
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Police on Monday arrested 18 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a stolen vehicle, 2.310 kilogram hashish, 53 bottles of wine, two pistols and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Sub–Inspector Mansoor Ahmed from Bhara Kau police station arrested three car thieves identified as Khuram Shehzad, Gul Muhammad and Sher Muhammad and recovered stolen Suzuki pick up (AJKA–9937) from them. ASIs Safdar Hussain and Asim Ghaffar from Kohsar police station nabbed two bootleggers Nauman and Afzal Masih with 52 bottles of wine while Sihala police arrested accused Idrees with a 30–bore pistol and 50 rounds.
Sub–Inspector Yar Muhammad and ASI Ibrar Hussain from Tarnol police apprehended two accused Raza Khan and Farhi Bibi for possessing a pistol and 2.310 kilogram hashish. ASI Ashfaq Ahmed from Shalimar police arrested Khalid Mehmud with a bottle of wine while ASI Habib Ahmed from Koral police arrested Hyat Muhammad for having a 30 bore pistol.
Sub–Inspector Muhammad Riaz from Shehzad Town police station arrested three thieves Rizwan, Mohsin Raza and Maqsood Masih and five dacoits identified as Rehman Gul, Niaz Ali, Daud Shah, Nur Ali and Sardar Ali were arrested by Sub– nspector Asjad Mehmud from Sabzi Mandi police station.
