Karachi: 3 suspected target killers arrested
KARACHI: The Special Investigation Unit on Monday arrested three suspected targeted killers involved in over 30 cases. SSP Shah Jhan Khan said that based on a tip-off that wanted target killers were present in Baldia Town, SITE–A and Orangi Town police limits, the police carried out raids and arrested Saeed Bhram, Anwerzeb Bhawani and Kamran. Two repeaters and three TT pistols were recovered from the suspects.
The accused were moved to the Investigation Unit for interrogation. The three confessed to killing more than 30 people, including four activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. They also admitted to killing a man who refused to pay extortion. The SSP told The News that the accused were activists of a political party.
