Lahore: Dacoits loot embroidery shop
LAHORE: Two unidentified dacoits barged into an embroidery shop situated near Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and fled away after collecting cash and cell phones worth million of rupees in Satukatla police area late on Tuesday. About nine customers were present on the occasion when two armed youths entered the shop and held hostage the customers at gunpoint. “They asked us to provide them cash without any delay,” a Malaysian-returned software engineer told this reporter.
The victim, currently residing in Wapda Town area, said that he along with his maternal uncle had gone to purchase dresses for his engagement. According to him, they did not even asked women to provide them gold ornaments. The dacoits after collecting cash and valuables fled the scene.
