Islamabad: 2 cooks involved in theft cases held
ISLAMABAD: The police arrested two cooks who were allegedly involved in theft activities in the houses of neighbours of their owners they serve, the police spokesman said on Sunday. Several complaints were received to the Shalimar Police Station about burglaries of similar nature after which SP (Saddar) Sajid Kiani constituted a team under the supervision of SHO Rasheed Niazi and ASI Muhammad Iqbal to trace the culprits.
The police team finally succeeded in arresting the culprits. The nabbed persons are professional chefs who used to burgle in the houses of neighbours of their owners after cutting grills or removing glass entrances. They were identified as M. Haleem son of M. Hoshiyar, resident of Plundri, Azad Kashmir and M. Saleem son of Rahim Bux, resident of Chak No.172, Bahawalnagar. During the preliminary investigation, they confessed their involvement in 26 burglary activities in the area of the Shalimar Police Station.
