Islamabad: 12 outlaws arrested
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Monday arrested 12 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car as well as electronic equipment and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesperson said. According to a press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad, a police team raided at the shops of persons involved in gambling activities.
They arrested seven persons identified as Farad Kamal, Kazim Kamal, Sohail Khan, Shehzad Hussain, Younis Ali, Shah Zeb and Hamad Kamal for their alleged involvement in gambling and recovered five mobile phones, 10 computers, two fax machines, LCD, telephone sets and cash worth Rs 25,000 from their possession.
Another police team apprehended Pitras Masih for having 1.050 kilograms hashish while ASI Muhammad Nawaz nabbed Kashif for having two wine bottles.
Meanwhile, another police arrested Jawad for possessing on wine bottle and Abrar Ahmed for having 12–bore gun. Police also nabbed an accused Boota for having car (LEC–2772) stolen from the area of Defence Police Station, Lahore. The cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under the relevant sections and further investigation is underway from them.
