Islamabad: 12 outlaws arrested, narcotics recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police claimed to have arrested 12 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car as well as electronic equipments and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Station House Officer of Aabpara police station along with ASI Mian Imran and others raided at the shops of persons involved in gambling activities.
This police team arrested seven persons identified as Farad Kamal, Kazim Kamal, Sohail Khan, Shehzad Hussain, Younis Ali, Shah Zeb and Hamad Kamal for their alleged involvement in gambling and recovered five mobile phones, ten computers, two fax machines, LCD, telephone stes and cash worth Rs, 25,000 from their possession.
Sub–Inspecotr Mushtaq Ahmed from Sabzi Mandi police station apprehended Pitras Masih for having 1.050 kilogram hashish while ASI Muhammad Nawaz nabbed Kashif for having two wine bottles.
ASI Ashfaq Ahmed from Shalimar police arrested Jawad for possessing now wine bottle while ASI Arif Hussain from Bhara Kahu police station apprehended Abrar Ahmed for having 12 bore gun.
ASI Muhammad Asghar from CIA police nabbed an accused Boota for having car (LEC–2772) stolen from the area of Defense Police station, Lahore. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under the relevant sections and further investigation is underway from them.
