Sukkur: Boy injured in acid attack
SUKKUR: In a recent incident of acid–throwing, a teenager was injured after being attacked by rivals over old enmity near Sukkur city of Sindh, SAMAA reports Tuesday. Police said the incident took place at New Pand area of Sukkur where four men riding two motorbikes intercepted 16–year–old Rahil Gopang, threw acid at his face and fled from the scene.
The teenager was shifted to civil hospital Sukkur in injured condition. A part of his face and arms were affected by the acid. Police cites ‘old enmity’ behind the heinous acid attack, adding that the boy had been subjected to a similar assault in the past as well. SAMAA
