Islamabad: 10 outlaws held
ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Wednesday arrested five outlaws for their alleged involvement in different crimes and seized vehicles, liquor and narcotics from their possession. A spokesman for the police said the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) arrested a bootlegger at Iqbal Town and recovered 40 bottles of wine from him.
Likewise, the police also arrested an alleged car lifter from Tarlai and recovered a stolen Honda Civic from him. Similarly, Margalla police, on suspicion, intercepted a Toyota Corolla and found that its engine and chassis numbers were tampered with. The police arrested its driver.
Tarnol police intercepted a woman on suspicion at Jhangi Syedan and during search recovered hashish weighing 3.6gms from her.
Bhara Kahu police arrested a person after recovering a 12-bore gun from him while Industrial Area police nabbed a man for his alleged involvement in a theft incident.
Separate cases were registered against the arrested persons.
