Quetta: Land dispute claims 2 lives
QUETTA: A land dispute claimed two lives in Dera Allahyar on Sunday. Police said a man and his son were gunned down in Goth Kareemabad area in the limits of Shaheed Malik Muhammad Ali Police Station of Dera Allahyar. Unknown armed men barged into the house and opened fire at Abu Talib and his six-year-old son Bashir Ahmed. Resultantly, both sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.
The police personnel rushed to the spot soon after the incident. The deceased were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy. The assailants managed to flee after committing the crime. “It was a case of land dispute and seven people were nominated in the case,” a police official said, adding that police have mounted a manhunt in the area.
