Briefing the media persons, DIG Operation, Quetta, Qazi Abdul Wahid, said a team of the Brewery Police Station was on routine patrolling in the Akhtarabad area, an outskirt of the city. “They signalled a white car, with two men inside, to stop but the inmates, instead of following the instruction opened fire,” he said and added that the police returned the fire and shot both of them dead on the spot.
Later, the police recovered two 9mm pistols, two TT pistols, hand grenade, plenty of bullet rounds, different number plates of vehicles and CNIC cards, he added.
