Islamabad: Ring leader of dacoits’ gang arrested
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Tuesday arrested ring leader of dacoits’ gang from Peshawar besides arresting one proclaimed offender, court absconder and five thieves from various areas of the city, a police spokesman said. According to details, Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police arrested a notorious dacoit Nawab Khan alias Nawabe from the area of ‘Pahari pur’ police station in Peshawar.
He along with his other accomplices committed three dacoities in the area of Shehzad town police and separate police team has been constituted to trace his other accomplices.
Industrial area police arrested a proclaimed offender Mansoor s/o Zahoor Ahmed wanted to police for the last two years in a criminal case while Secretariat police nabbed a court absconders Naseer Ahmed s/o Ammer Ahmed.
ASI Ghulam Mustafa from Golra police arrested three thieves Kamran, Imran, Abdul Ghani and recovered stolen items from their possession.
Sub–Inspector Saleem Ullah from Women police station arrested Ahida Bibi for her alleged involvement in a theft case while CIA police team arrested a thief Mudassar s/o Arshad Safdarabad.
ASI Haider Ali from CIA police arrested an accused Idress besides recovering 30 bore pistol from him. Mean-while, Ramna police arrested four suspects during search operation in its area.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik have directed all police officials to ensure effective policing and curb activities of anti-social elements.
