Karachi: Man with 65 heroin capsules in stomach held at airport
KARACHI: The Anti–Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a passenger from the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport on Sunday, and seized 65 heroin capsules from him. The man, Mohammad Imtiaz, allegedly wanted in several cases of drug peddling, was trying to smuggle one kilogram of the narcotic to the United Arab Emirates, ANF officials said. An ANF patrol team saw a suspicious passenger who was about to board a Dubai–bound plane when he was apprehended for questioning. The team examined his body and found heroine capsules in his stomach. He was taken to hospital and the capsules were retrieved.
