Rahim Yar Khan: 2 more Khanpur blast accused arrested
RAHIM YAR KHAN: Two more terrorists, said to have been involved in the Khanpur blast incident, were arrested by the police, said DPO Sohail Zafar Chattha here on Saturday. While talking to media persons here, the DPO said that on a tip-off the police had arrested two terrorists involved in the blast. He pointed out that the police got intelligence that two unidentified suspects were being roamed in railway station area. The police personnel rushed to the spot and arrested both of them. Sohail Chattha also claimed that the police recover 8-kg of powder used for making bombs from their possession.
Meanwhile, Regional Police officer (RPO) Capt (r) Syed Abid Qadri told the media that the terrorists had confessed the crime and had told the police that their next target was Rahim Yar Khan Police Lines and Bahadurpur Cantt. The terrorists were identified as Mohammad Shakeel and Shabeer ahmed.
