Karachi: 3 BLA operatives sent on physical remand
KARACHI: The court of Judicial Magistrate, Gharbi handed over three accused members of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) over to CID police on a six day physical remand. The court of Judicial Magistrate, Gharbi, has handed over the three operatives into the custody of CID Police for a six-day physical remand. The accused used to supply modern weapons to the PAC. He added vowing that they had yet to be investigated further. Following the statement of the investigative officer, the accused were handed over to the CID Police with promulgation of a six–day physical remand.
The accused took a stance in front of the court alleging that they had nothing to do with BLA neither they supplied weapons to the Lyari Gang War. It is pertinent to note that one day ago, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons had termed the arrest of the said persons as nothing more than drama. Those presented before the media were the missing students of Balochistan University. A petition had also been filed in Balochistan High Court by the families of the accused. Meanwhile, women-residents of Lyari held a demonstration in front of Sindh High Court against the operation in Lyari.
