Islamabad: Woman gunned down
ISLAMABAD: A woman was murdered in capital’s Sangjani area on Wednesday and her brother alleged that his brother-in-law was behind the killing, police said. The incident came to light when husband of Siraj Bibi, 29, informed his in-laws that she had allegedly been shot dead by robbers after she resisted their bid to loot the house. Later, the Tarnol police were informed who shifted the body to a hospital. Howevr, the victim’s brother lodged a complaint with the police alleging that his brother-in-law was behind the incident. He said the couple was going home after meeting him in Shah Allah Ditta when his sister was gunned down. He further told the police that his brother-in-law escaped after narrating the suspicious story. The police registered a case and started investigation.
