Karachi: Remand extended
KARACHI: An anti–terrorism court on Wednesday extended till May 13 the physical remand of two suspects in a case pertaining to the murder of two lawyers. The suspects, Mohammad Moshin and Abid, were arrested for allegedly killing former president of the Malir Bar Association Salahuddin Haider Jaffery and his son, Ali Raza Jaffery Advocate, in Malir in March this year.
During the pervious hearing, the court had handed over the suspect to the police on a physical remand till May 8. On Wednesday, the police reproduced the suspects in the court and sought an extension in the remand. ATC-II Judge Bashir Ahmed Khoso granted a four-day extension in the physical remand of the suspects.
