Rawalpindi: Drug smugglers held at airport
RAWALPINDI: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested three passengers including a Nigerian proceeding to different countries with heroin–filled capsules in their abdomen, finding 180 heroin–filled capsules in their stomach by X-Ray examination, the ANF spokesman said. Qamir Gul son of Bacha Gul hailing from Swabi bearing passport number DT–4794321, was proceeding to Muscat from Benazir Bhutto International Airport by PK–259 on Friday at 2335 hrs. He was intercepted as he reached at ANF counter, found doubtful. During the interrogation, he confessed that he has 40 capsules (filled with heroin) in his abdomen.
While, another Pakistani and a Nigerian were arrested at the airport with 60 and 80 heroin filled capsules in their abdomen on Saturday morning, the ANF spokesman said. The ANF sent them to hospital for examination and arrested after the recovery of the heroin filled capsules.
