Kasur: Youth’s murder turns out to be honour killing
KASUR: Blind murder of a young factory worker turned out to be an honour killing here on Monday. Mustafabad Police arrested three accused brothers. This was revealed by Kasur DPO Syed Khurram Ali. The DPO said the police had recovered the body of a youth from Pankoki drain on April 5, who was identified as Muhammad Ramzan, 22, and was a factory worker in Lahore.
Ramzan allegedly developed illicit relations with his neighbour Rukhsana, the DPO added. On March 29, accused Shafaqat, Liaqat and Younis, brothers of Rukhsana, after seeing the couple in a room, kidnapped Ramzan and slaughtered him. From the letters of Rukhsana police recovered from the drawers of Ramzan arrested the brothers of Rukhsana that admitted to killing Ramzan for honour.
