Peshawar: Polygraph tests of 13 accused ready, court told
PESHAWAR: The inquiry officer in the Uzma Ayub rape case told the Peshawar High Court (PHC) here Tuesday that polygraph test of the 13 accused has been completed and the result would be provided to the court on May 25. The investigation officer, Atiq Wazir, told a division bench of the PHC comprising Justice Dost Mohammad Khan and Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth that polygraph test of 13 out of the 16 accused has been done at a laboratory in Lahore. He added that the polygraph test of Uzma Ayub would be re-conducted on May 21. The prime accused in the case Hakim Khan appealed for unconditional apology in the contempt of court on notice. The court adjourned the case till next hearing.
