Lahore: 4 drug-peddlers held
LAHORE: Sandha police claimed to have busted a notorious drugs peddling gang and arrested its five members involved in multiple cases of drugs in different areas of the City on Friday. The arrested accused men were identified as Karamat alias Bao, Nadeem, Ashraf alias Shera, Imran alias Sabi and Waqas. Gulshan-e-Ravi Circle DSP Imtiaz Ahmed Bhali said that 1.5 kg heroine, 2 kg charas and 1,000 litre liquor were recovered from their possession.
The City’s operations police spokesman said that the culprits were hardened criminals and had been imprisoned several times on charges of anti-social activities and drugs peddling. DIG Operations Rai Muhammad Tahir has announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the raiding police teams.
