Imposter caught from Taxila
TAXILA: An imposter, who had swindled millions of rupees from many people by posing himself as an official of a sensitive secret agency, was arrested. Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Hassanabdal circle Nadeem Shahzad Bokhari said this while addressing a press conference on Tuesday.
He said that Sajjad Hussain, the resident of village Daswaish, Haripur looted two persons Mohammad Adeel, a religious teacher, resident of Islamgarh and Dr Shoukat of Hassanabdal. He also deprived many people in Rawalpindi, Attock and Haripur of over 100 tola gold.
On the complaint of the victims, he said, a team headed by Sub Inspector Mohammad Irfan was formed which traced the accused and arrested him.
He said that during preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to over two-dozen crimes.
