Lahore: Blast accused granted bail
LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday granted bail to Asif Mahmood, involved in the Rescue-15 centre blast. The court allowed the bail subject to furnishing of bail bonds of Rs100,000. It dismissed bail petition of another accused, Abid Akram.
On May 28, 2009, some militants had hit an explosive-laden van into the building of police emergency centre. At least 26 people, including police officials, were killed in the attack.
