Gujranwala: Cell phones, valuables taken away in 5 hits
GUJRANWALA: Dacoits took away cash, mobile phones, gold ornaments and valuables in five strikes in and around the city during the last 24 hours. Four dacoits forcibly entered the warehouse of Muhammad Irfan and took away Rs 200,000 and two mobile phones from Jinnah Road area. The Jinnah Road police have registered a case. Muhammad Irfan and his friend Asif of Noshera Virkan were going on a bike when two dacoits intercepted them near Babar Bridge and deprived them of the bike (GAL–8762), cash and two mobile phones at gunpoint. The Noshera Virkan police are investigating.
Four bandits barged into the house of Ijaz and held the family hostage at gunpoint. They collected Rs 100,000 and six tolas of gold ornaments and fled. The Satellite Town police have registered a case against Shahzad and his four accomplices on the complaint of Ijaz.
Mehmood Ahmed was deprived of his bike (GAK–7483) at Shahzad Shaheed Colony. The Satellite Town police have registered a case. Thieves took away the bike of Tariq Javed at Abdullahpur. The Noshera Virkan police have registered a case against Hussain and his accomplice Younis on the complaint of the victim.
