Islamabad: 7.4 kilograms of hashish recovered
Islamabad: The Sabzi Mandi Police and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police on Sunday arrested two persons, including a woman, after recovery of 7.4 kilograms of hashish and one kilogram of opium from their possession, the police spokesman said. A special police team under supervision of ASP (Industrial Area) Yasir Afridi, including Sabzi Mandi Police Station SHO Chaudhry Asjad Mehmud and others, was conducting checking at IJ Principal Road. The team stopped a man identified as Said Marjan for checking. During checking of his luggage, police recovered 2.4 kilograms of hashish and one kilogram of opium from his possession.
Likewise, another CIA Police team, headed by CIA In-Charge Bashir Ahmed Noon, arrested a female drug pusher, Hassan Taj, during special checking at Jhangi Syedan and recovered five kilograms of hashish from her.
Meanwhile, ASI Muhammad Fiaz of the Sihala Police arrested two female pick–pockets Farzana and Shazia besides recovering Rs55,500 from them.
