Lahore: Railway GM’s remand extended
LAHORE: An accountability court on Saturday extended 14–day physical remand of Railways General Manager (GM) Saeed Akhtar to NAB, Punjab. Saeed Akhtar is accused of selling scarp at throwaway rates which caused an enormous loss to Pakistan Railways. On Saturday, NAB authorities produced him before the court and sought extension in his physical remand to carry out further investigation. The court extended physical remand of the accused by June 9.
