Kasur: SHO among 3 cops booked for stealing FIR book
KASUR: On the orders of the DPO, the B-Division police have registered a case against Sadr SHO Ijaz Sheikh, SI Aslam and Moharar Akbar for stealing an FIR book from the police station. DPO Khurram Ali was informed that Sadr SHO Ijaz Sheikh with the connivance of Moharar Akbar and SI Aslam had stolen the book that carried heinous cases. It was also disclosed that the book also contained a corruption report against ASI Aslam who removed the page. After an inquiry, DPO Khurram Ali suspended all the three and registered a case against them.
Sources disclosed that a politician was involved in the incident and trying to hide the corruption. They said that Sheikhupura DIG Zulfiqar Cheema had received several complaints against Sheikh Ijaz. They also disclosed that the DIG had also warned Sheikh Ijaz of suspension if he did not reduce his 52-inch potbelly to 38 inches. They said that Sheikh Ijaz had staged a drama to avoid suspension.
