Rawalpindi: 35 outlaws held; stolen bikes, drugs seized
RAWALPINDI: Police, during an action against the vehicle lifters, recovered two stolen motorcycles, besides nabbing the robbers, informed police spokesman here on Wednesday. According to him, officials of Police Station (PS) New Town arrested one Asif and seized stolen a Honda 125 motorcycle while PS Waris Khan officials also held one vehicle lifter Abid and recovered a stolen motorcycle from his custody. Separate cases have been filed against the vehicle lifters while further investigation was on, he added.
In another action against anti–social elements, police apprehended 33 outlaws and recovered 810 grams of Charas, 110 grams of heroin, 38 bottles liquor, 15 pistols of 30 bore with 71 bullets and 2 daggers from their possession. All the arrested outlaws were being interrogated by police after registering cases against them, informed police spokesman.
