Rawalpindi: FIA takes into custody 76 deported Pakistanis
RAWALPINDI: The FIA Passport Cell Authority has taken into custody on Saturday 76 Pakistani nationals deported from Greece. According to media reports, 76 Pakistanis were deported for attempting to illegally enter Europe and Greece through Turkey via two flights. On arrival at Benazir International Airport the deportees were taken into custody by the FIA for further interrogation The deported Pakistanis hailed from different areas of the country, 49 from Gujrat, five from Peshawar, seven from Rawalpindi and two from Faisalabad. Meanwhile, the ANF recovered 80 heroin capsules from a passenger, belonging from Sheikhupura, from a flight bound to Bahrain. The ANF has started further investigation.
