Okara: Getting loan from bank fraudulently; Edu Dept employee, bank staffers booked
OKARA: After an inquiry on the orders of the Supreme Court, the police have registered a case against an employee of the Education Department and bank staffers on the charge of fraudulently getting loan from a bank. Zahoor Ahmad, an employee of the, got the photocopy of CNIC of Rajay Khan, a resident of 35/4L village, and received the loan from a bank through a fake file. After sometime, the bank pressurised Rajay Khan to pay the debt.
Despite his requests, the bank took legal action and sent him to jail. Later, Rajay Khan was released on bail and he submitted an application to Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The Sadr DSP, on the orders of the chief justice, held an inquiry and found Zahoor Ahmad and his accomplices guilty.
