Dera Ghazi Khan: DNA report on Fort Munro gang-rape case
DERA GHAZI KHAN: One of the three BMP officials arrested in the Fort Munro gang–rape case has tested positive, while the DNA report is negative for the rest of two accused. According to the report sent by the Lahore Forensic Science Laboratory to the DG Khan DCO, the DNA of one of the BMP officials, Zafar, had matched with the victim Shama. However, the report did not support the stance that Naveed and Amjad had also raped other victims.
The Border Military Police have failed to arrest two other accused, including Majeed Leghari, despite the direction of the Punjab government. The three arrested accused are in Central Jail and will be produced in court on July 5.
