Larkana: Villager shot dead for resisting robbery
LARKANA: Muggers killed a man while trying to rob him of his buffalo late on Monday night in Jat-Bhutta village near Naudero. Villagers tracing the footprints instead pounced on an outlaw carrying Rs500,000 head money and wanted in 50 cases of heinous crimes including murders, kidnapping for ransom and highway robberies. Deceased Malook Bhutto felt movements inside his house and challenged the cattle thieves who fired at him. Villagers chased the robbers through footprints leading to an autaq of Akbar Jarwar in Khanwah village. However, their search yielded in the discovery of fast asleep Faiz Mohammad alias Faizoo carrying Rs5,00,000 head money and wanted in different cases. The man tried to escape but couldn’t.
Later on Tuesday, relatives of Malook Bhutto placed the body on Larkana–Sukkur Road demanding arrest of culprits and removed it only after getting assurance from police.
Yet, in another incident a shopkeeper was murdered and his brother injured when shot at in Badah town on Tuesday.
Muhammed Qasim Mashori, 37, and his brother Abdul Wahab Mashori were sitting in mohalla Dargah Sharif when the incident took palce. Villager shot dead for resisting robbery.
