LANDIKOTAL: Ammunition was seized at the Pak–Afghan border at Torkham on Saturday, officials said. Sources in the Khassadar Force said that during routine checking they recovered the weapons from hidden cavities of a truck (P–1425) carrying Afghan families from Peshawar to Afghanistan. The recovered items included 564 rounds of 30–bore pistol, two wireless sets, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), four batteries and two wireless antennas. The forces arrested Nangyalay, Abdur Rehman and Habibullah, residents of Afghanistan, and sent them to the Landikotal lockup.
