Peshawar: Woman wants killers of daughter arrested
PESHAWAR: A helpless mother, whose school-going daughter was reported kidnapped and later killed, has appealed to the chief justice of the Peshawar High Court and chief minister to provide her justice by awarding punishment to the killers. Hailing from Charsadda, Najma Sama, wife of Fazle Qadir, told reporters at the Peshawar Press Club on Monday that her 13 years old daughter, Lubna, was first kidnapped by one Imran, son of Mohammad Diar. The man later married her by force.
Najma Sama alleged that both Imran and his uncle Qasim opened fire on her when she tried to get back her daughter. She said her daughter was later killed. The woman said she was serving in a dispensary as Lady Health Worker at Tehsil Gorgathri in Peshawar and her husband was jobless. She said she could not pursue the case because she was resource-less.
The woman said the criminals were roaming freely in the area but the police were not taking action despite the fact cases against them had been registered eight months back. She appealed to chief justice, chief minister and police high-ups to provide her justice by directing the local police to arrest the criminals and award them punishment for kidnapping and killing her daughter.
