Faisalabad: 2 cops among 9 booked for house trespass, abduction
FAISALABAD: On the order of an additional sessions judge, police on Tuesday booked nine people, including two policemen and an imposter, on the charges of house trespassing and abducting the former Qaumi Razakars company commander and his son. In a petition, former Qaumi Razakars company commander Syed Muhammad Raza alleged that ASI Abdur Rauf and Head Constable Muhammad Javed, both of Jaranwala Sadr police, Muhammad Afzal of Chak 53/GB, Muhammad Yahya of Chak 616/GB, Muhammad Daud, Sajida Bibi, Muhammad Yousaf of Farid Town and two unidentified people entered his house and abducted him and his son for Rs 800,000 ransom.
He said that the accused detained him and his son in a private torture cell. He said that the accused contacted his family and demanded cash but they gave him a cheque. He said that the accused returned the cheque to him and brought him and his son back to their house and released them after receiving the cash. He said that accused Muhammad Afzal posed himself as the CIA SP.
