Islamabad: 14 booked for fraud
ISLAMABAD: The Margalla police booked 14 persons on the charges of submitting forged documents of property to the courts for bail, police said on Tuesday. In the first incident, documents of property at a private housing society were submitted to the court of judicial magistrate for the bail of an accused allegedly involved in theft at Humak. The documents were later found forged. In response, the reader of the court, Syed Tahir Bukhari, lodged a complaint with the police which registered a fraud case against four persons.
The police also registered a case against 10 persons on the complaint of a confectionary outlet’s owner.
The complaint said the accused had submitted bogus documents to the court claiming that they had 50 per cent share in the confectionary outlet.
