Charsadda: Woman among 5 injured in grenade blast
CHARSADDA: Five persons including a women sustained injuries in a hand–grenade blast in Nazo Killay in the limits of Sardheri Police Station, official sources said on Thursday. The sources said Yasin, a resident of Babakhel, got angry with his wife as she had attended the Khatmul Quran at Misri Khan’s home. They said the accused went to Misri Khan’s home and exchanged harsh words with his family members. A hand-grenade being carried by the accused fell on the ground and went off. As a result, Misri Khan, Gulzara Bibi, wife of Said Umar, Hayat Khan, brother of Yasin and Yasin sustained injuries.
They were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Charsadda. Misri Khan was shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar due to his critical condition. The police registered the case and started investigation.
