Hafizabad: DBA observes strike today; 9 lawyers booked for threatening SI
HAFIZABAD: The Sadr police have registered a case against nine lawyers, including the Tehreek–e–Insaf district president Ch Amanullah Sindhu, for threatening a sub–inspector with dire consequences at Judicial Complex here on Friday. SI Muhammad Mansha of the Kassoke police was in court for presenting record in a case where he exchanged hot words with Ch Amanullah Sindhu. Later, Ch Amanullah Sindhu with his colleagues threatened the SI with dire consequences. On the order of DPO Waqas Nazir, the Sadr police have registered a case against nine lawyers, including Ch Amanullah Sindhu, Malik Nasir Ayub and Malik Zulfiqar. Meanwhile, DBA secretary general Rai Usman has announced that they would observe a strike against the case on Saturday.
