Islamabad: Girl commits suicide
ISLAMABAD: A girl committed suicide in her house at Shahzad Town on Sunday. Police said the 17–year–old Husna, daughter of a daily-wage worker and a resident of Pindorian village, was found hanging with her dupata from the ceiling fan when her mother and sister-in-law opened the door of her room. Police said there was no major cause behind the incident but the girl’s mother revealed that she had exchanged some harsh words with her sister-in-law over washing of clothes in the morning. The mother first thought that her daughter was sleeping in the room but when she knocked the door, there was no response. As a result, the two women broke the door open and found the girl hanging, the police said.
