Peshawar: People arrest terrorist after grenade attack
PESHAWAR: The police with the help of the locals arrested an alleged terrorist Friday soon after he hurled two hand–grenades, one of which went off and injured two persons, in front of a hotel in Wakhu Pul on the Kohat Road. The local people said a suspicious man in the morning hurled explosives near the Grace Hotel in front of the Kohat Bus Stand in Wakhu Pul and ran away. However, the locals and traders got hold of him when one of the grenades went off and slightly injured two passersby. Dozens of people thrashed the man and later handed him over to the police. The spot is hardly a few meters from the site of a blast in April in which 18 persons were killed and many were wounded.
