Karachi: 2 target killers among 4 nabbed
KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four criminals, including two target killers from different areas of the city. Al–Falah police claimed to have arrested two target killers, affiliated with a political party, from Kahkashan Society area and recovered weapons from their possession. SHO Sarfaraz Gondal said that accused were identified as Asif alias Langra and Munawwar Hussain alias Ballu. He said during investigation, the accused had confessed to killing six people. The accused were affiliated with Punjabi Pakhtoon Ittehad. Further investigation was underway.
Separately, Anti–Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) has claimed arresting two alleged absconders from Northern Bypass. The absconders were identified as Ameer Muhammad and Fayyaz Khan. AVCC also seized weapons from their possession. In early 90s, Ameer had killed his wife along with her alleged paramour. He was also accused of involving in police encounter.
