Islamabad: 7 ‘outlaws’ arrested
ISLAMABAD: The capital police arrested seven alleged outlaws from different areas of the city and claimed to have recovered liquor, narcotics and valuables from their possession, a police spokesperson said on Saturday. According to details, the Aabpara police arrested an alleged bootlegger after a recovery of 24 bottles of wine from him at Sector G-7/2. Likewise, the Sihala police intercepted a man on suspicion and during his search allegedly recovered hashish weighing 105 gm from him.
Similarly the Margalla police during investigation of an auto–theft case arrested a man, which led to the recovery of a car that was stolen from a mosque at G-8 Markaz.
The Sabzi Mandi police intercepted an Afghan national at I-10/2 and during his search claimed to recover heroin weighing 350 gm from him.
The Golra police, in response to a tip off, raided a house at G-13/4 and arrested three persons, including two alleged sex workers, while two of their accomplices managed to flee from the spot. Separate cases were registered against them and further investigation was under way.
